Get the most out of your phone

These days everyone has a Smartphone and generally has access to it 24/7, but not all businesses are taking advantage of all of its benefits. The Smartphone is one of the most engaging tools we carry in our pockets, the amount of apps available to the everyday user is in the millions and the connectivity it brings is essential to a business owner.  So how can you enhance and make the most of your conference or event using just your phone? Read on and we will tell you about some of the best apps available on the market today!

1. Evernote
The tool to help you remember EVERYTHING! Gone are the days where we want to carry around a pesky computer with multiple tabs and documents open. In comes Evernote, an app that allows you to store notes in separate folders (ie. One for each presenter) as well as URLS, videos and photos. Our favourite feature… The search bar making it really easy to find something specific in all those documents.
2. Grupio
Reach your attendees using Grupio, an app that allows you to connect everyone together whilst displaying as much information about the event as you’d like. Under the speakers section you can have information about each speaker as well as offer later connection through the “Ask the speaker a question” feature. Create an interactive game that all delegates have access to and engage them in your business through informative competitions. Check out all the features by downloading now!

3. Instagram
This one’s a common one and you’re probably wondering why it's here but a new business called Instaprint is integrating Instagram into your event in a whole new way. Scattered around your event Social Printers will print a photo of anyone who uploads a photo with your choice hashtag ie. #businessretreats2016. The hashtag feature allows guests to print their photos anywhere in the event, offering a range of perspectives from backstage to front row! Not only is this a lot of fun, it makes photo sharing a lot easier and increases your online reach both with guests at the event, and those who wish they were at the event!
