Blog - Audio Visual Equipment and Hotels

I am sure it is not only us that have an issue with Audio Visual at the venues but I hope that someone will implement better approaches to AV quotes and pricing. Venues and hotels need to better organise themselves in order to not lose potential clients due to inefficiency.
Read on to find out more about AV equipment pricing, and tips on how to improve the efficiency of providing these quotes.

Book Review by Katarina Cobain

Husband’s Secret
By Liane Moriarty

I got hooked after the second chapter. I had to know what will happen next with the marriage between two people after one has just admitted to an affair. The book is actually not about this marriage. This is only a side story. This book is about a big secret that comes out by accident. Firstly we are introduced to all the characters and told that it is set in the Sydney suburbs. The book is about a husband and wife in their 40’s living pretty standard lives, juggling work and kids. Until the secret is out and everything changes. The wife is burdened by the truth, love for her family, her own sense of justice and not sure what do next. The husband is relieved once the secret is out, as much as it pains him to see that this could change his life forever as his wife is contemplating what to do about it. The set of circumstances flip and suddenly the husband and wife are carrying the pain of a badly hurt child that they perceive to be a price for the “secret”.
The book is written simply and is easy to read. Not in my preferred writing style although I found it entertaining. It’s more like a good movie or drama script.
I liked the end of the book and how the reader was taken into the “what if” scenario and what actually happened in the past and how these events could’ve developed differently for all.
The book didn’t go too much into the feelings of the characters and their internal struggles with different emotions. I would’ve personally preferred more of that in the book.
This is a light summer read, easy and interesting entertainment.
