Gibraltar Hotel Bowral, a beautiful mid-size hotel is located 5mins from Bowral town centre and only a 1.5hr drive from Sydney and Canberra.
The hotel is only one year old and has been decorated in natural shades of brown and sand, to give a relaxing retreat atmosphere and to keep with its evnironment friendly theme. The conference room is generous in size and has plenty of natural light, ideal for many groups. The hotel can accommodate up to 200 delegates in cabaret style, with most rooms boasting in-built AV. Delegates have access to an outdoor verandah overlooking the golf course, providing the ideal time out. There are plenty of breakout areas available and even one special space within the hotel called the Gallery. Although this space doesn’t have in-built AV, it has an extremelly high ceiling for perfect acoustics for the in-built organ it houses. This space is just right for many functions and entertaining.
There are 76 rooms on site, all beautifully furnished and complete with all the necessary amenities. 42 of these rooms have balcony access, so guests can take full advantage of the stunning views. If you want some relaxing time there is a day spa and an indoor pool and of course don’t forget the golf course. Currently Gibraltar Hotel Bowral are adding another conference/dining space to add to their collection of versatile spaces.
The hotel has a calming and relaxing atmosphere, which you will epxerience as soon as you enter the the reception area. We are highly recommend it for your next conference or retreat.
