• How does Business Retreats Australia help me with my conference requirements?

  Business Retreats Australia (BRA) works like a travel agency, specialising in corporate conference venues. We handle your entire venue enquiry process, which typically follows these steps:

  1. Your BRA consultant will take your conference brief and requirements;
  2. BRA sends you the web links for venues, hand-selected specially to match your specific needs;
  3. BRA contacts the venues on your behalf for prices and availability;
  4. Your BRA consultant will sort and compile venue prices into a cost comparison spreadsheet for easy cost evaluation;
  5. From here, you let us know what comes next. BRA can and will assist by:
     
     • Negotiating for best price
     • Organising your site inspections at the venues
     • Sending brochures
     • Offering expert advice based on our firsthand knowledge of the venues;
  6. Once you have decided on your perfect venue, BRA will book you in and refer you on to the venue so that you remain in complete control of your conference.

• How much does the BRA's service cost?

  The BRA service is free for our clients to use. As an agent, venues pay us a commission for conference bookings. This commission is not built into the price quoted to you, and BRA 100% guarantees that you will get the same price you would if you went directly to the venue.

  In fact, our high volume of bookings and strong affiliations with venues often means we can negotiate discounted rates for our clients.

• Which venues does BRA represent?

  In short, all of them! BRA is an independent booking agent. We are not owned by a venue and we do not have specific venue members. We will book any venue in Australia that matches your conference needs.

• How does Business Retreats Australia find venues?

  Venues are our specialty. Over 20 years, BRA has built a very extensive venue library of conference venues all across Australia. We are in constant contact with these venues to keep abreast of latest developments, and through firsthand venue research and client feedback, we are able to provide you with an up-to-date and objective venue recommendation.

• What happens once I book my conference?

  You will work with your BRA consultant up until a decision is made on your venue. Once you have decided to book, Business Retreats Australia will put you in contact with the venue to sign contracts and arrange deposits directly. From here, we will take a step aside and will only get involved again if you have a problem and need our support.

  Once the conference is over, BRA will contact you for your feedback, which helps us to keep our venue library updated.

• Does BRA organise the conference?

  Yes, we can organise your conference and event from the beginning to the end. Please contact us and we would be more than happy to send you an event management quote. 

• Can you help us find dinner venue?

  Yes. We can also help with dinners, cocktail parties, launches, teambuilding, incentives and speakers. In addition to our venue library, BRA keeps a comprehensive database of conference service providers - everything from the weird to the wonderful.

• How long will it take?

  BRA guarantees a 24-hour response rate. We have developed our enquiry systems in conjunction with the venues, making them very efficient and allowing us speedy responses.
